COMIC Barcelona 2024

All big European cities with self-respect have their own Comic-Con festival. Barcelona doesn’t have an official Comic-Con festival, instead, they have a festival named Comic Barcelona. It is a marvellous festival and it attracts more than 100,000 visitors every single year. The event takes place in Fira de Barcelona Montjuic, extremely central in Barcelona and easy to access using all sorts of public transportation.

Comic Barcelona is the perfect place for those in love with comic books and superheroes. There are dedicated programs for kids in which they can enter the world of magic, get facial painting, and enjoy programs suitable for children. The older audience can meet celebrities, attend workshops, buy comic books, and several other programs. If you are a professional, you can even enjoy special programs where you can meet people working in the industry to get further help and advice.

As mentioned earlier, the event takes place in Fira de Barcelona Montjuic. The easiest way to get there is with the metro where you need to leave the metro at the stop at Plaza Espana. From there you must walk for a few minutes to reach the venue.

Even though the focus is on comics, you can also enjoy delicious food, snacks, and drinks in the festival area. There are lots of food trucks located in the square in front of the entrance to the building and there you can buy sweet pancakes, warm burgers, and other awesome dishes.
